What is the
International Thespian Society?

ITS is a national organization that was founded in 1929.  Its goal is to honor students who participate in theatre.  By being onstage, backstage, or in the orchestra, students can earn points and be recognized for various achievements.

Their mission statement:
"We strive towards honoring student achievement in theatre and enriching their theatre education experience; supporting teachers by providing professional development, networking opportunities, resources, and recognition; and influencing public opinion that theatre education is essential and builds life skills."

Apex High School's Thespian Troupe

We are Troupe #6028! We annually travel to Greensboro, North Carolina, for the International Thespian Festival! At the festival, you can particiapte in Individual Events, attend workshops, and party at the dance!

Ask any of your ITS representatives or Ms. Levine if you have any questions!

The Board of 2018-2019

As a collective force, we work to make Drama Club, school productions, and other theatre extracurriculars as enjoyable and safe as possible for everyone. This includes important matters like deciding the theme of Drama Club meetings, planning outings to ITS events, keeping everyone caught up on what's happening, and keeping Alfonso happy!
